   Radial tire mold is divided into three types according to its motion feature: cone guiding segmented mold, inclined face guiding segmented mold and dual face guiding segmented mold. All these types are divided into two parts according to structure: container and cavity. Cavity part contains tread block, upper & lower sidewall plate etc. Container is the part contains the cavity and be connected to the press. It includes top plate, bottom plate, activator ring and segment shoe etc. Aluminium alloy and ductile iron are adopted as tread block's material. In addition to the same utilities as aluminium tread block has, the ductile iron tread block has other advantages such as strong corrosion-resistance, good geometry and high strength.

    The main parts of the dual face guiding segmented mold are: top & bottom container plate, activator ring, segment shoe, guiding device, tread block, upper & lower sidewall plate and bead ring etc.

    The container structure feature of this kind of mold is that the guiding face is a combination of inclined face and cone face. Mold reposition resolution is high.
